Traditional Earth Magic and Witchcraft: Samhain
For all who are interested in traditional earth magic and witchcraft we offer the first event of our natural magic series in 2020. The series
is a self-contained training.
The first event is about the seasonal topic Samhain (from which the better-known Halloween is derived). In addition, we will teach many basics
for the natural magic work with the land. Also topics such as traditional spells, the use of herbs and potions and many other classical subjects of
traditional witchcraft are taught in this series.
The aim of our training in traditional earth magic for modern people is to enable participants to found their own coven in the foreseeable
future and to pass on the tradition independently.
In order to achieve this status, eight events about the eight seasonal festivals must be attended and seven quests (and some smaller tasks)
have to be completed between these events. After successful completion a consecration takes place, which enables and authorizes the participant
to pass on the tradition.
Since the rituals take place outdoors according to weather conditions, appropriate clothing is necessary. Medieval clothing or other clothes
made of natural materials are preferred for atmospheric reasons. (Details will follow!)
